Good Day to Play the Lottery

A girl saved her family from a carbon monoxide (CO) death. There was a faulty furnace that was emitting CO fumes, which are odorless and colorless and affecting the family – they all had the characteristic symptoms of CO poisoning with nausea, headache, dizziness and difficulty breathing. Fortunately for the family, the furnace must have been partially burning some carbon material that created a smell, which alerted the daughter and allowed her to get the rest of the family out of the house. The scariest part of this story? THERE WAS NO CO DETECTOR IN THE HOUSE!!! What were these people thinking?! PLEASE consider giving someone a CO detector as a Christmas or Hannukah or Kwanzaa present. Or Diwali, it doesn’t matter. Let’s get a CO detector in every home this year!
